Description of program
In long wet kilns or in lon dry kilns chain systems are useful for a better heat transfer from gas to material. Besides this they can improve the transport through the kiln. Basically we have two chain systems:
1.) Garland chains in areas of wet material and lower temperatures. In the program the hanging of garland chains and their length are described.

2.) Thermo chains in the hot area of the kiln, consisting of heatresistant steel. Thermochains are inclined to create much dust. The program has a method with which the developement of dust can be limited by fixing the quantity of chains per ring
.

At first you enter the datas of your kiln. Then you get the number of chains per ring to minimise the amount of dust.
